Hablando de melodías que te acompañan toda la vida, ésta “I Want To Know What Love Is” es una de ellas. Tengo recuerdos de momentos inolvidables de mi existencia que los relaciono con esta joya de canción que apareció en el año 1984 en la voz de Lou Gramm y su banda Foreigner.

Def Leppard y su éxito “Hysteria”.

Def Leppard es otra de las bandas que merece estar entre las 10 mejores de todos los tiempos. Llegaron desde Sheffield – Inglaterra a finales de los años 70, logrando popularidad en los 80 con éxitos como Hysteria, en donde se observa a Rick Allen tocando con un solo brazo en su batería adaptada para el efecto, luego del accidente automovilístico del año 85 que le ocasionó la pérdida de su brazo izquierdo.

America – You can do magic

“Puedes hacer magia, puedes tener lo que quiera que desees”. Esta es otra clásica canción en la voz de America, grupo conformado a finales de los años 60 por Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell y Dan Peek. El éxito “You can do magic” salió a la luz a inicios de los 80 y volvió a aparecer en el disco titulado “Hourglass” grabado en el año 1994.

Una buena noticia la que nos trae ALT1040 para los amantes del Rock Latino ochentero, aquellos que vivimos extraordinarios momentos al ritmo de canciones inolvidables como Música Ligera, Cuando pase el temblor, Persiana Americana, etc.

Habrá una gira de conciertos que abarcará México, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Perú, Ecuador y por supuesto, Argentina.

Karina….¿la recuerdan?

No se…pero su música tenía o tiene un pequeño encanto que la hace especial. Karina significa para muchos algo más que una cantante, personalmente la admiraba y disfrutaba con cada una de sus escasas presentaciones en aquella época.

Hoy que encontré estas dos perlas, pensaba…… en lo rápido que pasa el tiempo!. Si no miren esto:
